Where Food Comes From, Inc., is an independent, third-party food verification company. To put it simply: We are the ultimate food nerds! We care about food. We care about how it’s grown and raised, what farmers and ranchers do, and authentically telling that story to consumers through labeling and technology solutions.
We strive each and every day to ensure that everyone involved in the food business—from growers, farmers and brands to retailers and shoppers—can count on us to provide authentic and transparent information about the food we eat and how, where, and by whom it is produced.
Founders
Everything about Where Food Comes From can be attributed to our founders, John and Leann Saunders, CEO and President, respectively. For twenty five years, the Saunders have been dedicating their lives to adding value to farmers and ranchers across America and beyond. They believe that Where Food Comes From, Inc. can assure consumers that farmers, ranchers and brands are doing exactly what they say they are by providing third-party, unbiased assessments of production-related claims and pairing that with technology solutions.
